Rise is a organization dedicated to help people finding inspirational ideas, get better perspective about almost all topics, usually in the form of short and powerful talks.

At Health Connections we strive to ensure staff are trained to the highest standards, this includes a constant awareness of the most up to date research and best practice guidance.

Our training Instructors are company directors and we feel inducting new staff in this way sets the standard by which we expect staff to practice and helps to build a supportive and engaging culture from day one.

We have developed an induction training programme that we feel comprehensively addresses every facet of the job role and in order to cement these new skills we couple this training with real time induction shifts where staff act in a supernumerary capacity to observe more experienced staff members.

We also acknowledge that environment is consistently changing, and staff will require different levels of support. To this end we also run a Probationary framework to ensure that all support needs can be highlighted and managed collaboratively.

Our Induction programme consists of E Learning units:

  • Equality and Diversity
  • Safeguarding Vulnerable Adults
  • Safeguarding Children

  • Mental Health Awareness
  • Prevent
  • MCA & DoLS
  • Dementia Awareness
  • Positive Behaviour Support
  • Data Protection and GDPR
  • Documentation and Record Keeping

All eLearning is completed prior to commencement of duties and our HR processes ensure the necessary compliance level is met.

A full checklist is completed by the Senior staff to support this.

All staff members also go through a Probationary programme to maintain contact with the Operational lead.
