Health Connections PTS is an independent ambulance service offering a vast range of patient transport services. This includes:
- Non-Emergency PTS
- Secure Patient Transport
- Transport for Transplant
- Event Medical Cover
Where are we?
Our ambulance station is located in Barnsley, South Yorkshire, therefore we can cover a huge area including the North East, North West and Yorkshire.
When are we open?
Our control centre is open 24 hours a day, 7 days a week, 365 days of the year! Meaning we are super responsive.
Who are we registered with?
We are registered with the Care Quality Commission (CQC). The CQC are independent regulators of healthcare services in the UK. We are also registered with the Independent Ambulance Association.

Our clients include:
- NHS contractors
- Private Hospitals
What type of ambulances do we use?
We use ambulances and wheelchair accessible cars, which are all equipped to a high specification. Our ambulances are designed in such a way that the layout can be adapted, depending on need. Therefore this allows us to be incredibly person-centred in our approach to individual requirements.
Are our staff qualified?
Of course! We employ a range of medical staff, including doctors, nurses and paramedics. We also employ ambulance staff who undertake in-depth training. Therefore you can have absolute confidence in the service you receive from any of our employees.
